I visited Furano, Biei and Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa city that are some of the most popular tourist destinations in Hokkaido on my guiding job on the 19th.
Being blessed with an ideal weather, the tourists I attended on enjoyed and looked very happy with the beautiful scenery of the areas.
Ningle Terrace in Furano
Ningle is the name of the dwarf that is believed by Ainu people to exist in the forests in Hokkaido.
15 log cabins in the forest are all shops selling various kinds of handicrafts.
Furano Cheese Factory is close to Ningle Terrace. Several kinds of nice cheese produced here are available.
At the shop, they offer cheese tasting.
